Knitting makes holiday travel tolerable.

Travelling this holiday season was a bit trying -- between planes being delayed (is a delay because you don't have the part to fix a plane struck by lightening called weather-related or not...?) and sheer airline incompetency, I had some time to knit. In the end we arrived safely, our luggage arrived a few days later (intact) and it was a good visit.

Remember the Noro scarf I showed in the last post, though? Well, I didn't work on it at all until we were at the airport. Knit half of the thing ON one of the flights, and now I have a very warm, fuzzy scarf :)

I also managed to squeeze in two dishcloths before the year ended -- these got sent off as part of a Christmas gift.

The other thing I finished lately were the pedicure socks for my mom -- but I didn't get pictures taken before they got shipped out in the mail.
