FO-a-rama
whew. that last fellowship proposal took more out of me than I knew I had. so while I haven't really been on here posting, I HAVE been knitting.
I finished my mom's birthday socks (and sent them off to her before taking a picture...)

aww...thanks! I don't think the pattern is difficult -- just getting the hang of knitting in the round can be complicated, though :) good luck!
